My time as a costume designer brings a love of texture, color, story-telling, and secrets kept to the clothes I make.  I read a poem, and make a hat.  I listen to a song and a skirt leaps from my hands.  I look at a painting or see a play or a film and garments beg for release from my head.  The denim from a well-loved pair of Wranglers mingles with a scrap from Hedda's velvet skirt to become a cozy yet playful vest...
